October Tells Us The "Cloud Living" Era Will Not Be Long

We have been having an on-off e-mail conversation/interview with October for months now.

We ask question after question, then sometimes we'll review her new releases (almost always very positive things). She responds with answers, and thanks us for the compliments.

This is a very rare thing artists do, so we appreciate her generosity!

Anyway, the point of this article is to inform October fans, excuse me, Butterflies, that October herself says that her upcoming seventh album / debut film "Cloud Living" will not have a long era like the "Horoscope" era.

From the e-mail she sent us:
"...No, the Cloud Living era will not be long. It's a decision I made when I was developing the entire concept. Cloud Living is one of those precious moments an artist encounters in their career. It needs to be handled delicately and not over-dramatized. Horoscope was such a radio-friendly album I pretty much had to promote the shit out of it so my fans would be happy. And I don't regret anything about the Horoscope era. But, with Cloud Living, there is a difference. They'll understand it more when they hear it. It's a gem. To me, at least."

We asked her how many singles she will release and how many months she plans to promote the album, from the e-mail, she says:
"...I said in another interview I plan to release 3 singles. That is my goal for now. Promotion for the album will be the tour. I'm looking at the era starting in October and probably ending in January. The film is also going to be sent to theaters in October, which is going to remain there for about a month like usual movies do."

All we know is that we are anticipating this album and everything that comes from it!

"Cloud Living" is out 15 October.
