C O L O U R S

This is a warning.

Forget what you think you know. This album is not about rainbows, unicorns, happiness and joy. This album exposes the truest colours of my battling mental health. The most vulnerable, aching, dreadful, miserable and darkest words that needed to be spoken. It is not for the faint of heart. It is for the strong of heart. The ones who are not afraid to listen to, and even relate to, those who struggle inside their own heads everyday. This album was not easy to create and perhaps, I wish I could paint a perfect, beautiful picture that everything is amazing in my head, but it's not. I'm sorry to disappoint if you were expecting nothing but a confident, pleasant, groovy-tune playlist. I did not make a charts, radio or social media album. What I did make is an album with Marcos Ortega, aka Lorn. Each song symbolizes a different facet of what's going on in my head. The first colour I decided to share with you, Y E L L O W, represents Healing. You will find out what each colour represents if and when you choose to embrace them.
Feel free to turn around now.

My 25th studio album C O L O U R S will be available March 22nd through Butterfly Records.

Makeup has always been something I've loved since I was a child. It's an artform of beauty, a stylistic expression. No, I am not announcing a makeup brand like all the music girlies are doing, but I wanted to pair up my upcoming album C O L O U R S with my very first eyeshadow palette, in collaboration with my favorite makeup store, Ulta Beauty. The palette will include 10 shades inspired by each song on the album.

The eyeshadow palette is also named C O L O U R S and will be available on March 22nd in-store at Ulta Beauty. We also gave Ulta an exclusive orange variant of the album and it will be the first music product ever released to Ulta Beauty stores. Quantities of both the palette and vinyl are not unlimited. Any leftover stock will be put up on ulta.com but an in-store visit is highly recommended.
