I wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for your beautiful & encouraging support throughout this album campaign. Tough Love is so, so, so personal to me, reading the lyrics back makes me cry a little but also makes me incredibly proud to have been brave enough to be so vulnerable with you. I gave you my raw emotions & words, and I received so much love, so much care, so much appreciation...
But to me, saying Thank You is just not enough. I wanted to repackage this important album as a Summer Edition, ironically named because I've always said I hated Summer, but something bout driving down the river line in Summer... Anyway. 24 songs for Album 24 are included in the 2CD package, Disc 1 being the 12-track album, Disc 2 including 2 unreleased songs, bonus tracks, b-sides & new remixes. The gorgeous 2LP vinyl comes in some amazing different colors named after songs & includes 2 unreleased songs, b-sides, bonus tracks, new remixes, the 3 singles from the album plus a vinyl-only bonus track.
"Suck The Poison" was actually the 1st song written for the record that didn't make the cut, produced by Maribou State & "Airplanes" is a really special song I wrote about my childhood, produced by Youngso Kim, that I've been saving for something special.
Not only are you getting the Summer Edition but you are also getting 2 new 12" colored vinyl singles featuring remixes of bonus tracks "One of One" & "Papercuts ft. Jamie Irrepressible". "One of One" is on earth colored vinyl & "Papercuts" is on paper white colored vinyl.
