SLEEPWALKER

Happy first day of Autumn, Butterflies. I'm writing this to you from my home in NYC, it's a warm but windy night outside. You may have heard I was working on my 16th studio album, but what you may not have heard was that my 16th studio album is an audiovisual album. Unlike Cloud Living, where the album translated into a single film, each chapter of the album has its own separate visual counterpart, that were directed by an extremely talented handful of different directors. I would like to welcome you to the world of SLEEPWALKER.

SLEEPWALKER consists of 10 tracks with 10 visual chapters. I described the album in interviews as my "mental health album" because a lot of the lyrics have to do with the shit in my own head and how I cope with certain situations. The album also touches on the world we all live in right now and it feels so satisfying to break my longstanding silence through my music. The music I would describe as mostly IDM mixed with glitch, barring the last track "Medicine" which is only my voice and a piano. The album is filled to the brim with passion and raw emotion, which I knew was very important during the making-of process. The visual counterpart is just as important as the music and we devoted a lot of time working with the directors to make sure everything came out the way it was supposed to. It will be screening at a few separate locations, more details will be confirmed soon.

I decided to release the Digital edition of SLEEPWALKER on 10/6. 10 days later, the physical editions will be released, on 10/16. I wanted the visual album to have its own moment before dropping all of the products we have coming out. I also wanted to do some events in between. But starting today, you will be able to pre-order all editions of the album. The album will be released as a Digital edition, CD edition, CD/DVD edition, CD/BLURAY edition, 2LP edition, Cassette, and Special Edition Box Set. There will be 6 different versions of the 2LP edition, featuring 6 different colors of vinyl. The Special Edition Box Set we designed to be very, well, special. It includes everything you would need of the album, including the album spread out across 6 10" Picture Discs, a bonus CD featuring 2 exclusive bonus tracks, and more. We also came up with 6 bundles including exclusive merch like t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, hoodies, and bags.

Premiering today on Beats 1 World Record at 9am PST / 12pm EST, the first single from the album, BIZARRE, will officially premiere. Immediately afterwards, it will be available digitally everywhere. BIZARRE was the very first track I made for the album. It has a very bold sound and I think it's a perfect introduction to the album. The video, directed by Tim Erem, will officially premiere here at 10am PST / 1pm EST. We worked with some talented and badass chicks and created a really cool video. The physical and digital formats of BIZARRE will be releasing 10/6, the single and video are released today.

I am also excited to announce King With a Heart, The Elephants and I will be embarking on a world tour next year! Beginning in January, the tour will last through April. King will be performing tracks from his debut album "Home", I will be performing tracks from SLEEPWALKER plus a handful of old tracks, and The Elephants will be performing from their upcoming 7th album along with tracks from their previous 6 albums. We will each be teaming up with Ticketmaster™ #VerifiedFan, which was designed to get concert tickets into the hands of fans and not scalpers or bots.
